1. General provisions

These terms govern how goods and services of RISE EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION (TIN 08298635, legal address: 3 Aram Khachatryan Street, Arabkir, Yerevan 0033, Armenia) are ordered, paid for, refunded and cancelled through pay.risefoundation.am.

The terms relevant to your selected goods, services and donation apply. This version applies to new orders placed after its publication. Earlier orders retain their accepted terms. Mandatory statutory rights are not restricted.

2. Payment methods

Payment is one-time, by bank card on Inecobank’s payment page. The foundation does not store the full card number or security code. It receives transaction data needed to confirm, account for and refund the payment.

3. Prices

Names, descriptions, quantities, prices, discounts, selected delivery charges and donations are shown before payment. Amounts are in Armenian drams. Sale prices include applicable taxes.

Delivery and collection

Books are delivered only within Yerevan, within 3 business days after successful payment. The delivery fee is shown before you place the order. Collect your books at Formula Hub, 65/5 Halabyan Street, Yerevan. Call +374 93 509 659 before payment to arrange a pickup time.

The challenge runs on 16–29 November 2026. Platform access details are sent to the email address you provided once your payment is confirmed, and before 16 November 2026 for registrations completed by then. The participant can log in and take the challenge at any time during the competition window. If the email has not arrived, check your spam folder, then contact the foundation.

For Bebras Online 2026, the fee is 3,000 AMD through October 15 inclusive (50% off), 4,500 AMD on October 16–31 (25% off), and 6,000 AMD from November 1. Deadlines use Yerevan time. An unpaid order does not preserve an earlier price. The 500 AMD discount on an eligible partner link is deducted from the fee applicable at payment.

4. Fiscal receipt

An electronic fiscal receipt for goods and services is provided as required by Armenian law. A voluntary gratuitous donation is excluded from the sales receipt and listed separately in the payment confirmation.

5. Refund terms

Statutory consumer rights apply to individuals buying outside their business or professional activity. Withdrawal without giving a reason, defect claims and termination of a service contract are separate grounds with different conditions and deadlines.

5.1. Books

Printed books of proper quality fall within the statutory exceptions to returns without giving a reason. For orders placed under this version, we offer no additional voluntary change-of-mind return guarantee after receipt. Return benefits already promised in earlier orders remain applicable.

This exception does not restrict statutory claims for damaged, defective, incorrect or undelivered goods. Refund amounts and delivery costs are determined by the legal grounds of the claim and the accepted order terms.

If the book arrived damaged or incomplete, or the wrong item was delivered, the foundation covers the return postage too. Write to info@risefoundation.am with your order number.

5.2. Bebras competition entry fee

A consumer purchasing the participation service at a distance may withdraw under the statutory rules within 14 days after concluding the contract. Any longer period required by law applies.

After payment, we will begin the registration service. Payment, account creation, sending access details or participation alone does not establish full proper performance or loss of rights. The full-performance exception applies only when all statutory conditions are met, including consent to start and prior information about loss of withdrawal rights. Rights concerning defective or undelivered services remain.

After 14 days, a consumer may still terminate the service contract under the law. Services actually supplied and substantiated losses compensable under the law are taken into account. The entire fee is not automatically retained merely because 14 days have passed. Any deduction is explained with its calculation and grounds.

If the foundation cancels the competition, the entry fee is refunded in full regardless of any time limit.

For statutory 14-day withdrawal from a distance contract, the refund is made within 14 days after receiving the withdrawal notice. Other claims follow their statutory deadlines, including shorter deadlines. Waiting for internal approval does not restart the clock. Refunds use the original payment method, or another lawful method with your agreement. Bank processing time does not remove the refund obligation.

6. Order cancellation

These cancellation arrangements do not restrict statutory withdrawal, termination or defect-related rights.

You may cancel a book order before dispatch or collection and receive a refund for the unfulfilled part and its unperformed delivery.

A participation cancellation request is assessed under statutory withdrawal or service-termination rights, including after 14 days.

Write to info@risefoundation.am with the order number or other information sufficient to locate it, and identify the part concerned. Each participation, product and donation is assessed separately. Cancelling one part does not automatically cancel the others.

7. Information messages

The foundation may write to the email address you give us about what Rise Educational Foundation offers — new books, classes and competitions — and about how to register for them.

Such messages are sent only with your agreement, which you give by ticking a separate box when you place an order. The agreement is optional: without it you can still order freely and take part in the competition.

Every such message contains an unsubscribe link. You can also write to info@risefoundation.am at any time. Once you unsubscribe, no further information messages are sent. Emails about your own order — the payment confirmation, the fiscal receipt and delivery information — continue, because they are part of the transaction.

8. How long data is kept

Contact and order data are kept to the extent and for the period necessary to fulfil the order, resolve claims and meet statutory recordkeeping duties. Identifiable participant data is used to run the competition, provide results and resolve corrections. Afterwards, only data needed for a specific lawful purpose is retained. Competition history alone does not justify indefinite retention.

You may request erasure at any time by writing to info@risefoundation.am. We verify your identity where needed and handle requests within the deadlines required by Armenian law. Where withdrawal of consent requires erasure and no other lawful basis applies, we stop processing and destroy the data within ten working days following receipt of the withdrawal, and notify you within three working days after destruction. Shorter statutory deadlines apply where required.

Records required by accounting and tax law — fiscal receipts and sales data — are an exception. They are kept for the period the law sets and cannot be erased before it expires. After an erasure request they are no longer used for any other purpose.

For participants under 16, required data-processing consent comes from their legal representative; participants aged 16 or over confirm personally. Being a teacher or another payer does not itself confer representative authority. Data-processing consent and capacity to enter a paid contract are separate questions. The results-publication choice is separate and does not cover photos or videos. For Bebras, this permission applies to participants who achieve a high score: with permission, their name, school, year group and result may be published on bebras.am.

9. Donations

A donation to the foundation is a voluntary payment in support of the foundation's educational programmes. The donor chooses the amount, and nothing is supplied in return for a donation.

Ticking the corresponding box confirms your intention to make a voluntary donation of the selected amount for the purpose shown before payment. The choice is recorded with the order.

A donation is not a sale, so no fiscal receipt is issued for it. Where a donation is paid together with a purchase in one order, the fiscal receipt covers the purchase only and the donation is shown in the payment-confirmation email. If a donation was made in error, write to info@risefoundation.am with your order number.

A donation accepted for a specified purpose is accounted for and used for that purpose. If that use becomes impossible, use for another purpose requires the consent or other legal basis required by law. Silence is not consent. Claims about erroneous, duplicate or unauthorised charges are assessed separately and are not refused simply because the payment is labelled a donation.
